Y no los descubrí la primera vez que los oí, lo cual no deja de ser paradójico. La primera vez que alcanzaron mis oídos fue desde un álbum recopilatorio llamado Jazz Cafe, y que incluía su tema So easy. Pero a veces pasa que tienes algo bueno delante de los ojos (o para el caso, tus orejas) y nada hace clic en tu cerebro.

El caso es que hoy mismo acaban de poner a la venta un nuevo álbum, llamado Junior, y su primer tema es este que os traigo hoy, llamado Happy up here. Aunque al escucharlo se me vienen a la memoria otros temas parecidos en ritmo y samples, me encanta el tono festivo y simpático de la canción. Me encantan las lucecitas y que puedas leer la letra de la canción en el mismo vídeo Y hacer de la ciudad un espacio para recuperar el viejo Space Invaders, no tiene precio Siempre son bienvenidas las canciones que por un motivo u otro te suben el buen rollo.

Hacia finales de año esperan publicar otro álbum, llamado Senior, del que sus autores han dicho que será más “tranquilo, retraído e introspectivo”, así que ¡no me lo puedo perder!

Me encanta el tema, que conocí por la banda sonora de Tomb Raider, lo que me llevó a escuchar más de este grupo, Fluke, que también colaboró en otra banda sonora que me encanta, la de Matrix Reloaded (¿os acordáis de la escena de sexo entre Neo y Trinitry justo antes del ataque de las máquinas? Ellos pusieron el sonido ). Pero lo que más me gusta de la canción, sin duda, es la última frase.

Sin embargo, la maniobra a la que me refiero es un tema de Interpol, una banda que he descubierto hace poco gracias a @rafadc y que me tiene alucinado. De hecho, es uno de esos grupos de los que empiezas conociendo una canción y por arte de birlibirloque empieza a aparecer por todos lados (sin ir más lejos, hace unos días toque no demasiado mal su Obstacle 1 en el Guitar Hero, aunque no tan bien como aquí ). Para mi, una de las canciones más hermosas que conozco.
